YOUR SAFETY FIRST, OVERCOME COVID-19:

While our needs and routines have been altered, our mission has not changed.  If anything, our senses have become more acute as well as our appreciation for life.  We aim to provide life experiences and aviation opportunities that will keep you looking UP.

In moving forward with enhanced safety protocols, we have modified our tours, Operational Procedures, and the helicopter in an effort to protect our passengers and crew from the spread of COVID-19. Please refer to our website, www.youtakeflight.com for details.

BOOKINGS:
Until further notice, new bookings are for Private Fights only, accommodating up to 5 passengers in the cabin. The additional co-pilot seat up in the cockpit, is temporarily paused. Booking options vary depending upon the tour selected.

FEATURES:
All tours include photo and video opportunities with the helicopter utilizing your devices at no additional cost. Optional enhanced photo and video packages are available. Experience duration includes safety briefings, passenger photo opportunities, loading, possible rotor start and shut down time as well as flight time. Flight time is considered from lift off and does not include rotor start or shut down time. Departure locations and flight tour opportunities can vary.

THE HELICOPTER:

We operate the Bell 206 Long Ranger for several reasons. It is spacious,(often referred to as an air limo), comfortable, with executive club seating in the 5 seat private cabin, and extremely smooth. In fact, many of our passengers have compared it to a Cadillac in the sky, due to a Bell Noda-Matic anti-vibration system. A great feature for those with motion sensitivity. In addition to executive use, it is often a workhorse in critical mission profiles such as air ambulance and law enforcement due to the reliability and power of a jet turbine engine.

COVID 19 PROTOCOL:

**At this time, all flights are Private Flights.

**Due to the configuration and size our the helicopter, we have been able to implement  Lexan safety divider between the private cabin and the cockpit, the air-conditioning / heating system is a separate unit and air flow than that which is in the cockpit.

**Our masked crew adheres to social distancing.

**Mask are required in the terminal building and restaurant, however, not in the helicopter due to the set up.

**The helicopter cabin is sanitized after each flight. This includes headsets, microphones, seat belts, door handles and all frequently touched surfaces.

DINNER FLIGHT TERMS :  Please note that if you choose the dinner option, we will handle your reservations for you. Reservations are required. You will receive a 3 - course meal that is part of their Dinner Flight Menu Program that they offer with their small airplane tours. Included is a salad, main course and dessert. You are responsible for beverages and tip. There is also the option to upgrade the steak on the menu to a Filet Mignon, for an additional $12.99.  If you choose that option while placing your order in the restaurant, you will also be responsible for that cost. We will be happy to text you the menu in advance if you wish. Please note that although we are not affiliated with the restaurant, we know how hard they work. Please do not forget to tip appropriately, as we are notified if our passengers do not and it may affect our ability to offer discounted flights in the future.

MEET OUR CHIEF PILOT:  BIO

From the time he was child, Captain Wolf knew he wanted to fly helicopters. His conservative Hamburg, Germany, family thought he was crazy, but they supported his dream. He got his fixed wing private pilot license and then moved on to obtain his rotor craft license with the German police, where he started his career. He proceeded to move to South Germany and acquired thousands of hours of flight time in 15 different types of helicopters, including the Bell 222 Airwolf. With his primary operations in Bavaria, his mission profiles included  servicing the mountain huts in the German alps, air medical, heavy lifting sling load operations, as well as rally race coverage throughout Europe and Africa. He became quite well known as der Wolf, the Airwolf, after he was a contestant on a German TV show where he successfully completed  his mission to paint the call sign of the TV station on the top of a car with a paintbrush attached to one of his helicopter skids, while dipping it into a can of paint.

Upon moving to the US, he transitioned into jets and started flying corporate jets and eventually became a Boeing B737NG Captain, flying for international airlines. Along with his wife, Kelley, they developed additional aviation businesses, including manufacturing FAA approved flight stimulation devices and acquiring their FAA Part 142 Certification as an airline pilot training center, where he is an instructor and Training Center Evaluator (TCE) for the Boeing 737NG.

Upon retiring from airline flying, Wolf itched to go back to his first and favorite love, (sorry Kelley), helicopters. While he still flies corporate jets, he is thrilled to be back in the Captain’s seat through our sister company, Airwolf Helicopters LLC, call sign, ‘Airwolf 833'

Welcome onboard.
